Perched on top of Papamoa Hills, Summerhill Estate Golf Course and Recreation area offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with captivating sea views and picturesque park like surrounds.  The New Zealand affiliated 36 par 9 hole golf course measures 2480 metres.  The course layout and undulating fairways will reward risk takers and challenge golfers of all skill levels. We warmly welcome all green-fee paying golfers to visit and experience playing golf in the peaceful and relaxed environment of Summerhill.

Our vending area offers self serve eftpos facilities for golfers and is open between 6am and 9pm during the Summer period. The kiosk and cafe with our outdoor pavilion area is open everyday and provides the perfect place for golfers and visitors to enjoy cold drinks, a light lunch, great coffee or perhaps some post game banter with a beer or wine!

Green-fees are just $25 per adult for 9 holes $35 for 18 and $10 for 9, $20 for 18 for juniors under the age of 16.

If golf is not for you, the course's majestic mature trees, stunning views and varied terrain make for an enjoyable walk in a serene environment. Your four-legged furry friends are also welcome

Summerhill Estate is ideally located just 10 minutes from Papamoa and 25 minutes from Mount Maunganui on top of Papamoa Hills. With plenty of local attractions near by including Summerhill Trails, Kaiate Falls and Papamoa Beach, Summerhill Estate is the perfect spot for a day out of the city.

The best way to get to Summerhill regardless of where you start from is via Reid Road off Welcome Bay Road. Google Maps might tell you otherwise but trust us, the metal road and locked back gate from Te Puke Quarry Rd is not ideal!
